My car is accelerating on it's own!

Yeah sooo..... My car has been randomly accelerating on it's own, and if not accelerating it's just idling at a certain speed by itself.

Put the car in neutral and it damn near redlines until I shut it off. Put it in park, same story.

Anyone have this problem before and anybody know how to fix it or could it be possessed, should I just hire a priest? If it is possessed and ya'll have tried a priest with no results, where can I get holy gas?

Did you inspect anything? Throttle cable moves freely? Something broken in the linkage at the tb?

"DeMirrored" ? You drive around w/ no mirrors?

I've been in to Acura and they thought it was a sensor, we replaced it, $480 later, it's started doing it again.

The DeMirrrored was an inside joke. My mirror exploded and I had to take it down and the manufacture replacement took about a month to get back to me, so I joked about demirroring my car.

thats no vac leak!
rev limiter should be kicking in at 5000 rpm in N or D
is that happening?

what sensor was replaced?
what rpm does it choose above idle?

dealer worked on it-charged a diagnostic fee over 100$ no doubt,, and didnt fix it!!!
go speak with the service MANAGER--thats BS~~~~
they diagnosed wrong, probably went off codes instead of clues,,didnt have the Senior Tech who knows things working on it,
thought they could get away with it, but you belong to azine and know better

go to a parts store for a free code reading- report any found back here

cables were removed from return assembly?- lubed inside, ckd the attachment assembly?- some are breaking the edge holding the cable in and causes weird jamming
you left a little freeplay in the cables?

wait for a real acura tech to get back from holiday weekend for more answers
