Motor mount

Just replaced front and side engine mounts.

Rear engine mount removed and put back in decided it was still good.

Visually inspected tranny mounts looked good. No tears etc..

Engine is still idling very rough especially in the morning, and starts idling somewhat better after the engine warms a bit.

I was thinking something is weird unless the oem front mount has already failed. Likely? or something else completely?

A rough idle could be due to the winter mix gas. Try a fuel system cleaner in the tank.
If the motor had a poor idle during warmer weather, it could be a sticky IAC valve or perhaps the EGR passageways within the intake are carboned up. Check our "DIY"s for more details on cleaning these components along with the TB.

This problem goes back to summer and also ran fuel cleaner (seafoam) in the gas tank and in the crank case and the vacuum line.
Its very rough like a motor mount or two is bad but the motor mounts are all new or in good shape.
Lastly thought there was a vacuum line problem.

see the attached steps to isolate the problem:
vaccum leak ?
engine mount doesn't respond to vaccum change ?
valve is not able to regulate vaccum ?

I have a vacuum line diagnostic tool that came with my brake bleeder, good time to use it.
If its not the vacuum line to the mounts, have more work to do to isolate the problem.
When I replaced the mounts, also replaced the hoses.

If it gets somewhat better after the motor is warmed up its not a mount issue. When was the last time the plugs were changed? Have you had the valves adjusted?

Changed the plugs and coils 3 months ago but never had the valves adjusted.
