A few weeks back I rolled into the back of a Dodge Ram 1500 at a stop sign and messed up my car. The good news is that his car is fine and I've managed to make a deal with him involving a contract. Damages: Front bumper (3in. tear in the center), grill (completely destroyed) & hood(dented and raised 2 inches from default). Can someone give me an estimate of how much I'm looking at? A friend of mine mentioned a hook up for the parts which include an aftermarket bumper, hood, and grill for 600 dollars unpainted. Is that a good price? I really think that my hood can be fixed rather than replaced, but the problem is that I cannot open the hood what so ever... yes, its stuck and slightly raised. If I was to buy the parts painted how hard/easy would it be to install them on my own? Would you recommend this if i had some help with a friend with tools or should I just have the auto body do it for me? Sorry for the long read... but any advice would be appreciated. Thx.. here are a few pictures...

it's a decent price for everything but you have to look at the price of painting. it's tough to tell that the hood is damaged in the pic. the bumper can be filled and painted over for like $300. i had that done to mine 2 years ago and you would never know it had a giant hole in it. the grill you can get off of the parts site. maybe you should cruise to the local junkyard and look for a hood.
it's easy to install hoods and bumpers. you will need help with the hood for putting it on and lining it up, but it's not that tough. only like 4 bolts holding it on. i would say just do the install on your own unless the body shop throws you in a cheap labor price with the painting.
