Middle console lid won't stay closed

I have an '03 TL. The middle console lid won't stay closed. It keeps on popping up. Anyone else have this issue? What are you doing to make it stay closed? It's just getting rather annoying!

Thanks!

Check the screws that are on the underside of the arm rest. This has happened to me and all I had to do was tighten them

Happened twice to me- some had fallen out- tighten/replace the screws.

Sometimes the the interlocking gears can slip and keep the doors from latching closed. That happened to mine and I was able to re-adjust the gears. There are threads on that somewhere on Acurazine.

my '99 TL is doing the same. Removed the screws for the latch and found that the latch was cracked. Anybody know the partner number for the latch?

Mine broke once. I used to have to on occasion tighten the screws. Then i smartened up and put some locktight on them.
