Hello all,

I have an 02 Type S with 160,000 miles. It will idle semi rough (slight but not troublesome vibration) when coming to a stop at intermittent times. It will also, almost every time, have heavy vibration (feels like its not getting fuel) around 57-60 MPH. This vibration at idle also happens in neutral as well and the 57-60 MPH vibration in any selectable gear for that range. Otherwise at every other speed except randomly sometimes at idle it performs flawlessly. ECU has recorded no codes. I have replaced plugs and air filter. I have not replaced the fuel filter, does this sound typical of a clogged filter on this machine? Could there be an odd vacuum or emissions control problem i am overlooking? Check your motor mounts.

Good idea! Thank you very much. I will inspect them this weekend. Is there any specific one i should take a closer look at? One that takes more stress than the others?

Passenger side and Front. These mounts have a typical life span of 50k or so.

I was getting the same problem. When I took it in to the dealer they told me it was my TPS sensor was bad. I'm not sure if yours is working. Good luck.
