I swapped a j32a2 along with a j32a2 ecu in my base TL and my mechanic said because of antitheft reasons and codes it might cut the injectors so it might not start up! Has any one had this problem or know how to fix it?
Its at the shop they just finished all the wiring and plumbing I'm not sure if they've tried to start it yet was gonna check up on the car tomorrow! I just want to know if anyone knows about this?
If the new ECU came with the key that was tied to it you can simply tape both keys together to get it running. If not, most automotive locksmith's can program the new ECU to work with your old keys.
