help! oil leak from camshaft thrust cover.

Just got my car back from trans swap, shift smooth. But I feel a bit power loss, i don't know why, probably it's all in my head.
Now, I found another problem. oil came out from the camshaft thrust cover('1' in the pic above). How to fix it? I know there is a O ring inside. what's the size? where I can get a new one? Just remove the cover and replace the O ring? or I have remove the camshaft. what is the '2' in the pic above? can I just remove it by undoing the 3 bolts? have to remove it to remove the camshaft thrust cover.

Thanks

I wonder if thats the mystery camshaft seals that some dealers want to do with the 105 but the parts guy says are not usually needed

I think the camshaft seals is at the timing belt side. For my tl, the oil came out at another side close to the battery.

one of the engine gurus will be here soon,,
its the weekend so some of us get out into the real world

we had a member recently find the PCV valve was clogged solid
result was oil leak from the rear main seal for the crankshaft!
normally a 400 dollar repair for that seal
He replaced the valve--you can clean them most of the time- and the oil leak has stopped!
excess crankcase pressure can push oil past a seal so ck that
rear side of engine, above valve cover

The PCV valve is ok, I shake it, it clicks. oil came out from the front camshaft thrust cover and then went down to the trans . no fun.
