HELP! In need of new Xenon hid's! What to buy!?!?!
i have looked all over and don't know what bulbs to get
i will replace both, but I need to know whether to get 4300k or 5000k (i'm leaning for the 5000k because I like the white light)
AND I want to get Philips cause I've heard good things from everyone
so please help me find some 5000k Philips to buy, somewhere that's trustworthy
and someone please help me find the difference between the crystal vision 85126CV and 85126 CM ?
both are 5000k and philips, but I'm not sure if they're the same, and if they are Xenon!
help!

i personally would suggest you order through this website: http://store.excelerateperformance.c.../i-236445.aspx
there is a member on this site that is a sponsor of this site and they are $100 for a pair. as a side note you might see the abbreviation d2c. it clearly says that d2c is compatible with d2c=d2r & d2s. so your good.
I would only suggest 4300k or 5000k anything higher your just risking light output (lumens) and gaining color (kelvin).
example chart:
4300k D2S Philips = 3200lm (lumens)
4300k D2R Philips = 2800lm (lumens)
4300k D2S Philips = 2400lm (lumens) actually 5800k
4300k D2R Philips = 2000lm (lumens) actually 5800k
4800k D4S/R (brand) = 3800 (lumens) -- brightest in the market
5800k D4S/R (brand) = 3300 (lumens)
7000k D2S other = 1790lm (lumens) *(other bulb brand)
7000k D2R other = 1390lm (lumens) *(other bulb brand)
8000k D2S other = 1180lm (lumens) *(other bulb brand)
8000k D2R other = 780lm (lumens) *(other bulb brand)
that chart above will help you out determining which kelvin you want as far as bulb is concerned and will show you what the light output will be.

My problem is installation and materials needed to install. Conversion kit and wiring harness, for D2R bulb. I have 2000 3.2 TL. Just wondering how to install, materials needed, and if i need to clear headlights.

straight install on the low beam bulbs- the car already has HID system parts
4300 was stock- if you drive on really dark roads at night- stay with that color
5000 picks out the lane marking paint and roadsigns- some extra blue
6000 you lose a bunch of white on the road to see with, but the extra blue really lights up things with reflecto paint in them
any higher is useless IMO
phillips are good and so are kaixen

new bulbs need 50-100 hours of use to get fully burned in-
then the color and brightness will be at their full operation
Drive with your lights on all the time- takes a while to get those hours on the bulbs
