Hi guys
I have a 2000 Acura TL with 180,000 on it.
When I turned on the car to start the car, the immobilizer green light blinked and the car wouldn't start.
The battery is fully charged.
Why can't I read the immobilizer key?

 

Try another key

 

do you have the service manual? there is a section on troubleshooting the immobilizer system...could be a fuse, the immobilizer reader or even the PCM; but you have to perform the troubleshooting to determine with certainty.

What are the reasons why the immobilizer won't start?

 

the key is no longer paired with the ECU, you need a locksmith or a dealer with a computer to pair the key
