Unhappy 2000 TL: Power Steering Whine/Air-Trapped

I don't post much here, just a lot of reading.

So I've had my fair share of issues with this car (2000 TL). The original P/S pump whine was from the o-ring on top of the pump. Replaced that ring with the TSB/updated 'orange' ring, and that fixed it for a bit.

Now there is a bunch of leak (p/s fluid, reservoir runs low every 1-2 weeks) happening/coming from some where at the passenger side of the car. I inspected underneath the car, but couldn't tell exactly where the fluid was coming from. It's all wet down there, but I can see that the rack/pinion assembly is dry on the ends where the tie rod ends are at.

I traced the leak up to, maybe, one of the source, and that was the p/s pump itself. Removed the pump and pulley, notice there's fluid leaking from behind the pulley. So I opted to buy a re-man pump by Cardone. Installed the re-man pump, bled the system while the car is at idle and turning the wheel from lock-to-lock a few times. Repeated the process a few times until the reservoir stops foaming.

Ok, so that seems fine... but here's the real problem. The moment I drive the car, or rev the engine to 2k RPM and above while in park, the pump makes a horrible whine/groan, and reservoir is all foamed up/spewing out fluid all over. I've probably spent close to $100 in fluids trying to bleed the system in different ways, but same ending result. Am I missing something, doing something wrong, or...??? If someone has some sort of guidance/help, that would be great

Theres a hose that goes from the reservoir to the pump, it may not be sealing properly.
The hose gets hard and brittle as it ages, also the reservoir has a filter inside have you checked it ?

Maybe the rack is faulty but check all the above before replacing anything.

Seems like I remember having to replace the clamps on that hose between the pump & reservoir with a good ladder type clamp, as the original ones were weak.

Did you properly bleed the PS system? You have to turn your wheels several times from full left lock to right lock.. Its always done with your wheels on stands so you don't F*** your tires...

Figured out the problem. It was the re-man pump that was defective. Before removing it, I noticed that one of the return hoses (bottom hose) was producing excessive pressures at idle and was stirring up the reservoir quite a bit. Revving the engine to 2K+ RPM produced even more pressure causing the fluid to gush out the reservoir and suck in air. So I replaced the pump with another re-man unit (life-time warranty exchanged from Autozone), and that fixed it! Thanks guys.
