First off I'm A newb at posting but been leeching off this forum for as long as i owned my car about 4 years. 03 ssm TLS. many thanks to all the help and things i learned from everyone's post ect.. learned how to do my rotors, debadge, front lip, mesh grill, intake, fix weird nosies the tl makes... saved a lot of $$.

Its a love hate thing with my car, i'm on my 3rd tranny after 80 thousand miles

Now both my headlights are out. my passenger's headlight and balast is out ( acura told me 400ish for ballast 150ish for one bulb and my left arm for labor) driver side just the headlight is out.

Question if i buy one after market balast/unit will it look different? will it be better to buy a pair of ballast? from where? and who? elcelerate do you have any more? and why is everyone trying to get rid of their phillps bulbs? am i posting right?

I would get an aftermarket Philips 4300K or 6000K D2R kit and do it yourself. You will save a TON of money doing it that way. The lights and bumper are easy to remove. You may have to splice in the wires from your factory harness. I think someone else on the forum has done this..try a search. Good luck
