Headlight restoration
Acura people, what product do you recommend to restore headlights of my 03' TLS.
I saw some YouTube episodes with Acrylic-Wërks Polish, Mothers and tooth paste.
So what will be the best for TL with 145K?
Thanks,

if its external only--not moisture inside lens
ck our diy section and wash and wax subsections for help
if you own a drill go buy a 10-20$ kit with pads and polishes included
It looks worse before it looks better- dont freak out
just keep polishing until the crystal clear comes back
you will find vids using wet sandpaper--thats not for you
get the diy kit at any parts store

Whitening toothpaste or polishing compounds will work if the haze is light. If it's really bad and deep, then you will need to wet sand successively with these grits: 600,1000,2000,3000,5000. Then polish with a compound. Spray them with a UV clear coat and it will keep them clear and new for years.

The headlights were pretty bad in my 03' TL-S, 140k....
I purchased a brand new aftermarket pair on eBay for $130 bucks and after install, my car looks brand new. Crystal clear, diamond like gleam! One of the best cosmetic enhancements I have done. Makes me happy to drive it again.
Not to mention I can actually SEE things again at night!

I figure by the time you are looking on youtube for help,,it needs the drill and various sanding pads-polishing pads,,,as if using higher and higher grits of wet-sandpaper
but without the wax on/wax off mind numbing repetitive motion
work smarter not harder!
plastic or metal polish contain grits you (hopefully) wont find in your toothpaste
another trick to prep is use claybar first to pick up embedded crud
cuts down on work time
Do windshield with claybar and soapy water too
Claybar- same stuff you should be using on the paint before any polishing or wax
once lenses are clear, apply 2-3 coats SYNTHETIC car wax,,it has a much higher melt point than carnuba based car waxes,, and the lens do get hot
the wax will keep them looking better and cleaner as it repels water
once in a while do claybar and reseal
