Exclamation foglight problem.

hey guys, so i just installed my HID fogs and i have a problem. when i first installed it, my right side worked and my left side didn't. so i thought it was the ballast and tried switching the ballasts with the left and right one. but it actually worked only on the right side. so the problem wasn't the ballast. i also tried switching the chord that connects the ballast and the fog wires on the car and that was not the problem either because my right side still came on but not my left side. so i tried switching the bulbs also and it still worked on the right side and not the left. does anybody know what the problem might be? because the really weird thing is, when i tried my oem bulbs that came with the car, the left and right both worked fine. please help me! thanks.

If you've done the troubleshooting and found that all your parts work, I would bet that it's the connectors. I have 2 Tl's both with the fog HID conversion and at least once a year I have to take one of the front ends off and "jiggle" them if you will. The autozone by my house has these little packets at the registers of lube that you squirt on the connectors to give it a better connection and prevent corosion. It works for me. I'm not sure of the name.

do the foglight wires separate from one to two? is that why the fog wire on the passenger side has this "other" wire coming off of it and the driver's side doesn't? because i hooked up my hid kit and only the right side works so i'm thinking it's a problem with the voltage since the passenger side is using up all the energy so the other one's not lighting up. please help!

Have you tried switching the polarity of the connector going to the ballast?
