FINALLY installed new exhaust and now got check engine light
So I finally installed my Tanabe Super Hyper Mediallion exhaust today. Prior to the installation I had problems with my 02 sensors, I had codes P0132 P0420. The check engine light went away for a while, but I still decided to replace both 02 sensors....
Today when installing the exhaust, I had two 02 sensors that I bought, which are the following:
Bosch 13256 - Oxygen Sensor - OE Type Before Catalyst Check
Bosch 13656 - Oxygen Sensor - OE Type After Catalyst Check
I wasn't able to install the one thats 13256, it was too hard to unplug and the guy installing it didn't wanna deal with all the hassle and trouble...
The one that I DID install was the 13656 BUT it was installed ONTO the CAT, does anybody know if this is correct? The guy installing it didn't know what before or after cat meant...
Anyways, after starting the car and driving for a few minutes, the check engine light came back on, I had the codes read and it looks like I have code P0141
Did I install the wrong sensor in the wrong place? Was I supposed to reset something after getting my exhaust installed as well as getting this new sensor installed?
How do I get to the plug of the other sensor to replace it?

unplug it from either way. If you can lay on top of the motor with a flash light you can get to it, you can also get to it from under the car.

what about my check engine light?
I still have the following code:
P0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
will that automatically go away after I install the other 02 sensor? Should I also reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for about an hour?

i had the same problem and i think your going to have to drive the tl for about 200 miles before the CE light goes away. The car needs enough time to gather info to see if the o2 sensor is working correctly. On my tl i replaced it and reset the code, but the CE came back on until i drove it for around 200 miles then it went away

Alright....so now I just gotta find a shop that could replace it for a reasonable price, went to a few shops today, was quoted from $70 - $120 and I'm the one providing them with the part...
man...if I'd have a lift I could probably do this myself...
Anyways, another problem I've got is that when I start the car, my Maintenance Required light lights up and blinks for like the first 5-7 seconds, what could that be all about?

If you've had maint and are not near a maint interval, perhaps it was not reset properly.

would something like this work: Duralast 2 Ton Jack Stand
And about the maintence light, last time I had my oil change, the guy forgot to reset the light for me, and I didn't know how to, so I just left it like that...
