Yesterday I was coming back from SF and all the sudden the TCS and CEL went on. This morning, the TCS is not on anymore, but the CEL is still on. After going to Autozone and getting the scanner, this is the error codes I have:

P0301 - Cylinder 1 misfired detected
P0303 - Cylinder 3 misfired detected
P0306 - Cylinder 6 misfired detected
P1739 - Manufacture contrl transmission
P0740 - TCC Circuit Malfunction
P0300 - Random/Multiple misfired detected

- I know that those P03xxx are related to the spark plugs. I found the thread while googling for the codes. I'm suppose to buy one spark plugs and test it one by one. My question is, how do I go about finding this bad spark plug? Am I suppose to take one out and reset the code? If it isnt the right one, does the code come back right away?

- What about the P1739? I had that awhile back...Does that mean my transmission is going bad?

-P0740 - After looking into some more, this mean that my tranny is about to go soon?

Please help! Trying to change out my driver bulb now...

where are you getting your information? its not correct~
The multi misfire code is not spark plugs- its a bad coil
You buy 1 coil and install it on the first spark plug- doesnt run better?- put the original back on that plug and move the new coil to the next spark plug- does it run better? no, repeat until car runs right- you have just found the bad coil-
Try cyl 1 then 3 then 6 since thats what the codes says are all bad- its likely 1 of those
Fix that before going on to the next problem
How many miles on the spark plugs- original?
ever seafoamed the intake and gas tank yet?
Has the transmission been doing any slipping or extreme delay going into Drive from N?
feels like it doesnt want to shift thru 2nd 3rd on its own?

Sorry wrong term...Can I buy the coil pack from Kragen or Autozone? Are they specific to Acura or any coil pack will do? I'm not really sure how I can "feel" if the car runs right or not when changing the coil pack.

-These arent the original spark plugs. I remember that I changed them before. I cant remember the exact miles....I also cant find the receipt.

-I seafoamed the intake and gas tank in December 07.

-The transmission does feel kind of weird lately when I'm shifting.

Let me drive around for a bit and check...On a positive note, it only took ~30 minutes for me to change the driver bulb!

yes -you can buy coil at parts store- it is acura TL specific- remember the thing with the wire clipped to it- you removed that and the spark plug was underneath?
that thing is the coil- should be about 45 bucks

do you have a code reader or you went and they read them for you?
As long as you have changed the plugs and used ngk or denso you should be fine there

Is the car running funny at all?- not the trans- just how its running in general- does it have a slight miss---roughness---stumble at idle, or it wont accellerate like normal?

After taking out the battery, the CEL is gone now. Dont know when it will come back. I didnt change the spark plug myself. I would like to know how, it look somewhat doable. I just dont have the tools.

I rented the code reader from Autozone and return it 4 hrs ago.

When I put it in Reverse, I hear a loud noise every now and then. As far as accelerating, I think it feel a lil weird.
