extended non-use of lowbeams

My low beams have been blown out for over 3 months. I barely do any night driving, so it really hasn't been much of an issue. I've been driving occassionally with my highbeams on. My question is, will I have any issues with my ballasts due to not having a functioning bulb connected? How can you tell if your ballasts are in working condition?

Replace the bulbs?

It shouldn't harm the ballasts... unless they're the reason the lowbeams aren't working.

Like 03CoupeV6 said, unless the ballast are the reason the low beams aren't working shouldn't be a problem. When the highbeams are on, the low beams are also on. So unless there is a ballast problem there is still power going to the low beam light bulbs.

Alright, but how can i tell whether the ballasts are functioning or not?

By putting a working bulb in them, that's what I meant by "replace the low-beams?"

Replace the bulb with a new one or you can use a volt meter. I wouldn't have the volt meter hooked up when you first turn them on. I think the initial volts is like 100k but then goes to 35w for normal operation.
