I'm noticing more and more rock chips lately in my Grey Acura TL-S, Is it more practical to get a new paint job or just touch up?What can I use to safely fill in rock chips that won't wash or wax away? The previous owner of my TL obviously did a shit job at it and I'm left with the ugliness.

Depends on how many rock chip we're talking here.... and how long you plan on keeping the car.

I've had a few rock chips that I used touch up paint on. It dries as hard as regular paint. Hides it pretty well, you'd have to be <1ft from the car to really see it.

The bumper has quite a few and my driver door a 3 the size of a pea. I plan on keeping her for another year or 2? what kind of touch up paint did you use?

go to an auto parts store and get a little touch up pen with the color of your car. post some pics of the rock chips

Bought the touch up paint at the dealer. It was 8 bucks I think.

ill get one on tomorrow, the bumper is by far the worst.. anyone know how much a respray on just a bumper is?
