Is this the correct oil for my 2002 TL-S?

2002 TL-S

I did a research and this showed up for my car - 5w20?

Acura 3.2 TL 5w30 (1995 thru 2001) 5w20 (2002 and 2003, includes Type S)

Also can I get this oil at a local auto store that's specifically for honda cars or any brand can work? or should I buy from the dealer that is by Honda?

I have been using Mobile 1 synthetic oil for the life of my car and now just this year the oil leaks out. I've read that Mobile 1 synthetic is thin and probably not recommended for older cars being that the oil is thin and the seals on an older car are not as great to hold the oil very well. My oil is very low now and I need to add more asap. So instead of taking it to the dealer, I rather buy oil and pour it in.

So in this case I should just buy the regular oil? Please let me know so I can go to the store and buy now. How much should I pour in if my oil is very low?

Thanks in advance.

Go ahead and top off the oil with whatever was used for the last change (Mobil 1 in your case, from any auto store and no need to get it from the dealer). And you can mix oils in a pinch if you have to and can't find the Mobil 1. Try to keep the same viscosity, but either 5-20 or 5-30 will work. Any oil is better than no oil.

There are high mileage oils from several manufacturers that have additional seal conditioners and may be worth a try. You should also make sure your PCV valve is not clogged as that will increase crankcase pressure and force oil out of the seals. Easy enough to replace with one from the dealer (aftermarket PCV valves don't seem to work as well as OEM on these engines).

you do not need high mileage oils- the Acura engine is barely broken in at 200,000 miles~
Chances are you have a rear main seal leak, ck the inspection plate under where engine and trans join- 2 10mm bolts hold cover on, If any oil is in there- its the rear main seal
As noted in above post- the PCV can clog and force oil to find escape paths- usually thru rear main = new PCV may fix the leak by relieving that pressure on seal
20 bucks for a new dealer PCV, goes into a line at rear valve cover

the difference in 5-20 and 5-30 oil use: is when the company needed to fool US regulations, (where have we heard that before!)
after couple years that program was dropped, and acura went back to 5-30 which offers slightly more protection at operating temp
Use whatever is cheap really- its doesnt make a huge difference in brands since most oil comes from 2 companies!

the Oil Pump seal to engine has been know to fail- another possible source of your leak!
By now you must have cleaned everything off and ckd for the real source?

Is it front the front of the engine or the back end of it- as it sits sideways in the car
