Coil pack 2003 TL base vs Coil pack Dohc same year
So I'm currently at the auto junkyard for the I guess the graveyard for all vehicles that come to die so I got a 2003 Acura TL that I'm changing the coil packs on and I got a 2003 Acura TL typeS sitting here in the junk scrap yard with the coil packs and tag so I need to know if those coil packs are the same if somebody can respond quickly me and I'd really appreciate it thanks

same...to save you the trouble next time you head out; go to the a site like oemacuraparts.com and configure the car you have there; find the part and then check the vehicle fitment area; it will tell you what you need to know.

so ummm yeah..
the 2003 TL - Base is my mother's car and I was trying to get coilpacks for her car.
She wasn't to enthusiastic about them being $45 for each one at the local auto parts.
AutoZone, Oreilly's, Advanced Auto Parts, CarQuest, Napa etc they are all the same .
Over inflated pricing these on everything.
So i took a stab at a wrecking yard in South Dallas called Garland Auto Salvage.
It's basically a pick and pull yard. Actually fairly well organized and so forth.
Anywho, 12.00 each for ignition coils on a 2k3 Type S. She was a happy camper.
It gave me a chance to take my Blackbird for a spin and needless to say I got caught in the rain.
But it was a welcomed shower for sure. Man it was a hot hot day.
Thanks everyone for your insight. And they worked flawlessly. ;-)
