Ive been driving with my suspension quite some time and Ive recently heard a noise like "clunk" sound on the drivers side it only happens when I stop and when I accelerate and go over a bump. I went to the mechanic and check the shocks and they where ok. There was no "rattling" sound while driving so it cant be the links. He said something about the center line link he said that it keeps the wheel from moving positions. Not sure about this dose anybody have an idea what it could be if its that?

 

Typically the clunking sound is from loose end links or from sway bar bushings that need to be lubed (they are binding).

 

So its probably the bushings.

 

so--- a better mechanic who actually test parts until they find the problem is what you need!!! Pretty odd part to wear out unless there are other issues

 

Well i had suspension and wheels and went over a pot hole on the highway lucky me it bent the wheel a bit but i didnt expect to break anything else

 

whats the best lube and way to do a sway bar bushing by the way?
