My car was running fine this morning except my check engine light came on. I drove about 20 miles and about 5 miles from work my car started shaking. having it in drive sitting idle i heard a rumbling sound. when i hit the gas i thought the engine was going to fall, or blow up
i cant replicate the sound in words but everytime i hit the gas it kind of puttered. Never heard nothing like it in any car i've ever owned. I just got 2 mounts replaced (front and side) and my rear is broken I have a tech that works at the acura dealership that i cannot get ahold of. but he changed my mounts. He also said do nt worry about the rear unless i always drive in reverse.. im at work right now and I'm scared to drive home. I have a full tank, my oil is fine, the temp is low and i have 147k on my car. I have NO FUCKEN clue whats going on with my car and need a little insight on what the problem could be wrong. Can anybody help me??? Any questions you need to probably diagnose whats going on i'll be more than happy to answer...

When 1 coil pack goes bad it often gives multiple fail cylinder codes
DO NOT PANIC
they should cost under 50 ? anyone got a current price?
you buy 1 and try it on each spot until the car runs better again
thats the bad one!
do not use 89- 91 or better only!
the differance is usually 10 cents a gallon
$1.50 a tank- drive slower or give up a vice and get the right gas, or sell the TL
if spark plugs not changed at 105 service- you did get a timing belt-water pump then-- right?
NGK plugs and seafoam cleaner in the engine will fix you up and make gas mileage better to
CEL = check engine light- usually not best idea to drive when that is on

Cheap gas is not so bad, but you may have gotten a tankful contaminated with water or something.

My wife came home from work last night all shook up because her 99TL was shaking, had no acceleration and she feared it would stall in the middle of rush hour traffic. CEL was on and had OBD code 1399 only.
I went down to the dealer this morning and picked up an ignition coil (coil pack). Started swapping and the 4th one fixed it!!
$58 at the dealer, could have gotten on line for $40, but couldn't wait.
