First i want to thank you guys for having the time to respond and give your suggestion on the problem i am having. Just got the 2002 Acura TL 3.2 4d I am having a problem when i put the car on reverse. It doesn't have any power If i am in flat surface then yes it get moving but if i am like in a bump i will not make it in reverse The rest of the shift work fine without any Problem Car run smoothly has power and fast. I dont know what it can be never had such a problem with any other model

 

Check the shift cable adjustment at both ends for excessive play. If it's good then probably something to do with the reverse gear shift pawl. Unfortunately that part is internal.
