car loses voltage while driving, Not the Alt or the Batt!

The alternator is new, battery is new. Pepboys couldn't find a problem. Acura Dealership couldn't find the problem. It will sit at idle 14 volts all day long. Dive it and lift up on the throttle and or brake and it drop down to 11 volts or lower. Had this problem before the alternator and battery were just recently. Checked grounds too. The car was stalling before I upgraded the alternator. Its a high output Mechman. Seen alot of threads on this but not alot of results. Heard of bad relay or eld.

when you say ckd grounds- Did you remove and clean each and every one of them?
The main battery neg cable gets loose inside the connector to frame- that will mess you up big time and be very hard to spot
Only know about because it recently happened to a ziner!

There are 5 small braided wire grounds, and the one that goes to trans bolt
Its not enough to visual or try to wiggle and say its good- must remove, clean with sandpaper or wire wheel or dremel till shiny! and the surface it mates to- same thing- clean to shiny bare metal

Ever changed the belts?
I've seen belts with oil contamination just spin on the pulleys and they wont squeal. Inspect both belt and pulleys, I use brake parts cleaner to clean the pulleys.

Good call Erick!
If ac belt / alt belt tensioner is weak and failing-a common problem, not enough pressure is being used to spin the alt at desired speed
With that can also be dirty pullies as mentioned above, careful not to get brake cleaner on belt itself

that main batt ground wire needs inspection of its connector to frame for sure- wire gets loose inside its connector- looks fine but is not
