car is jerking when i hit 2nd gear only
my car been riding funny these pass days.when it change to 2nd gear it jerk mi like if the motor mount are bad.not sure what could it be i put band new motor mount not that long ago could it be the belt,pully or tranny mount or 2nd gear is going bad?

could have a bad new part or a loose bolt~
inspect all the mounts,,is the vac line connected to mounts front/rear?
did you install OE mount or ??
how does the atf look and smell,,red pink brown black burnt sugar?
last fluid change--ever?
slamming into 2nd not good
Does it slip -rpm increase without good acceleration in 2nd
get a flashing D5 light on dash getting on freeway hard in 2nd??

No light on dash no type of smell or nothing when I change the motor
mount they was oem. But never did the tranny mount I'm guessing might be the tranny mount cause it feel like something is lose when it hit 2nd.

rare to need a trans mount
front and passenger side go all the time
do those inspections to find the real problem
may be a cv axle or bad mount....

what does that mean? it wont rev over 2000?
or it wont shift above 2nd gear?
whats was it doing before this happened?

It drive good still and pick up and Everythin but when I'm driving slow it jerk me when it on low rmp like in 2000 it only does it when it in 2nd gear goin to 3rd I'm hearing could be a senor or I need a tranny flush or my gears r slipping ?

As previously suggested, check the motor and tranny mounts first. Also, inspect the tranny's fluid level and condition. If you have alot of miles and don't know when the last time that the tranny was serviced, it may be worth trying the drain and fill procedure using only Honda fluid.
Consider replacing the external fluid filter and cleaning the shift control solenoid valves.
There are some pressure switches that may be causing the jerk.
Does the tranny feel like it's slipping....or revving between shifts ? Or does it only have a more harsh feeling hard shift ? You stated that this only occurs when shifting from 2nd to 3rd, not others ?

It only on 2nd goin to 3 since my car is low n ny street is crazy I don't push it I jus drive slow so when I'm driving slow n it hit 2000 that when I feel it...I had a jerk before and it was the motor mount I never got a chance to do the tranny mount ...I don't think it the tranny giving up cause it ride good but u never kno I'm clean the throttle body and also do what u told me if not then I'm going have to take it back to Acura

what did acura do to it?
any shop can ck the mounts,,, and not charge you 150 for the privilege!!
as said above: clean external shift selenoids, do one drain and refill of honda dw1 trans fluid, 8 bucks a qt,,buy 4,,takes 3 to 3.4, measure removed fluid carefully!

a 3 ounce sample of the old atf to blackstone labs with 25$ will get a mass spectrograph test and human interpretation of whats in the fluid
normal amounts of xy and z but excess on A,,,means yadayda
maybe excess clutch material

iirc it shares a shaft with 5th so that can act up too

BUT
ask them based on your problem- cold or warm
make sure ATF drain plug and fill plug are broken loose and retighten
before warmup drive
drain often stuck in tight!

took it today to the shop found out i need new tranny mount.....left/right axle also my tranny is good and strong but im still going do what u told me to clean it...thanks bro for the help......

That's good news !
Was it just the tranny mount only ? There's two of them, do them both !
I'm unsure if you meant that the L/R axles are ok along with the tranny or not ?

I'm have to replace the 2 tranny mount and my right axle ain't lookin that good so they told me to replace it when I get a chance but I'm replace both side

glad its a simple fix, make sure to use NEW axles,,the ones from NAPA have a very good rep.
rebuilts always have a problem
aftermarket trans mounts probably ok--not many ever replaced?
ziners with experience? oe or after for the AT mounts?
must be that low and slow is putting more jerking motion thru the mounts
or the main motor ones were bad a long time leading to trans mount failure
lowering the car does a major number on the cv/axle joints alignment angle
no surprise you need them
rebuilts always have a problem

hey brother I know this is a very old post but may be I can get some help Iam having the same problem as you did. I got a 2010 MDX with the same jerky problems from 1 to second it jerks when I drive slow did you solved your jerks issue in your car after replaced the axles ? I already got the 4x4 trans fluid changed within a year and all engine and transmission mounts replaced with oem one and still got the same jerks into 2nd.

I had the same issue somehow it blew the fuse under the hood 7.5 amp clutch fuse or something of that nature.

Had the same problem. Turned out there is a 7.5A fuse under the hood. Clutch something I dont remember exactly. Somehow it blew an caused a terrible shift only between 1st and second gear.

hey bro I have a question the fuse blew off that you had make your car fell like jerk forward at low speed or from a stop and go ? I have that same issue but I don’t have any lights on dashboard. I feel the jerk forward in a heavy traffic is very noticeable when you stop and go at low rpm but if you push accelerator to the floor you will feel it but not so much.
