I decided to upgrade my headlight bulbs for the first time. It seems as if the previous owner had put epoxy around the bulb and the socket to hold together. While removing the bulb from the headlight assembly the little tab that hold the pin down against the screw broke off. I had to scrap the epoxy of the space between the bulb and the socket. I attempted putting the bulp and socket back into the Headlight Assembly, it seem as if it doesn't lock into place, and it is impossible to get the pin back on because the tab holding it is broken. Aside from buying a whole new headlight assembly is there something I can do to Salvage the one I have now.
