Please help! I got some bad news the other day. My 99 TL was blowing coolant from the rad into the overflow resevoir and emptying the rad itself. Took my car to the dealer who confirmed my engine had a blown head gasket, repair costs about $2000, but I'm thinking I can find a used engine somewhere and have it installed by someone other than the dealer for about the same price if not less. Problem is I don't want to get screwed by some scrap yard, can anyone give me some advice/tips on where I could get an engine still in good condition. I live about an hour outside of Montreal, Canada, but I am willing to import from the U.S or elsewhere if need be. I only had 240 000 km (150 000 miles) this shouldn't have happened yet.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Another vote for car-part.com. That's an excellent way to find parts from hundreds of salvage yards across the US.
