Pretty sure I've got an aftermarket alarm. My key fob looks like a car tomagachi.

Problem is when I go to lock and arm the car, it doesn't make the signature chirp sound, nor does the alarm actually arm, so I can just open the doors from the inside and nothing happens. The doors lock just fine, except for the back drivers door. Most likely just needs an actuator replacement. Would that possibly be the cause of my alarm not arming properly?

If so, thats strange because that actuator has never worked and my alarm has set in the past properly and I had a period of time where it did the same thing it's doing now, then the alarm started working again.

Can anyone help me out?
