acura owner link question
I just signed up for acura owner link and told my friend about it who has a 02 tl with 125k. When we enter his vin, it says the car is covered under the warranty but the dealer refuses to cover it because it has 125k.
After reading bout many of you here with failing transmissions, what is the next step we can take?

109k or 7 years + 9 months from first date in service is the limit, whichever comes first.
Acura is known to ~Goodwill cover~ fully, cars over the limit- especially if a problem was ever reported to them and they could not find then,
they also cover nice people who come in and Talk with Service MANAGER, not the service writer-advisor, who has zero authority
Manager calls acura regional rep- and they decide if full or partial coverage
You can usually get them to 2000 or less on your end or so max.- thats better than the price for aamco to do it-
It make take a few tries but can be done
They covered phee with a 99 and 140k- way out of limits- he only paid like 400 or less
