Hey guys,
So my air conditioning is not working. What happens is I go to hit the 1-5 numbers to blow air out and it does not come out. I think the fan may be out because I could not hear it. What does happen though is that I can turn my air all the way down to 60 then when the car starts getting some speed 30-60mph a little flow of very cold air will come out. So I know the cooling part is working just not the blowing part. Any suggestions?
I took it to the dealership and they want 117 for diagnosis then 117 an hour plus parts.
Thanks a lot!

Welcome Muchosmangos !!!
*Try the climate control's "self diagnostic" feature:
Turn key on, push "Auto" and then " Off " buttons, hold both down together, if there's a problem....the digital temp indicator will display an error code, then "88", then again will show a letter A > N. A problem with the blower motor would show up as "N" on the display. To reset to normal mode, simply turn the key off.
The blower motor's wiring harness connector is a common problem with our TL's. The connector to the blower will melt and become deformed. Sometimes the resistor pack will go bad and only work at lower speed. Check the blower motor's relay and fuse #56 (40a) in the underhood fuse box. Check #3 (7.5a) in the driver's side fuse box and #13 (7.5a) in the passenger's side fuse box. The harness with connector is available for less than $25 @ your local Acura dealer's part dept.
