I just purchased an 03 Acura TL , every once and a while i hear a errrerrr that last about 2 to 3 second then goes away. I hear it right after start up most of the time. but heard it pulling up to a gas pump today. It seems like a normal noise but would like conformation (almost sounds like a pump)

If it does it when first starting it its the ABS/TCS pump priming. Its normal and nothing to worry about

 

Thanks, It sounded normal but wanted to be sure. And i wouldnt trust the local dealer if he told me it was normal.

 

 

Yeah my 02 TL-S does the same thing, I can feel it vibrate the pedals too for just a second after the car starts, and I can hear it slightly. I feel it to be completely normal and its just the pumps getting up and running. I always make it a point to start the car and wait until the VSA, SRS and any other lights extinguish before I put it in gear, that gives the vehicle an opportunity to get all the fluids moving and the pumps online before I go hauling ass off somewhere.

 

Yup, normal.

One Buzz once you hit 5mph.

Second buzz at 15mph.
