Exclamation 99 TL CD player

I am a new user here, have a 99 acura tl. it's got problems with the CD player, does not run the burned CDs. okey with the regular cds purchased from the market. is there something wrong or that is just BOSE. I thought bose is the best sound system, but that is just a dilemma. would be very helpfull if I get any helpfull info about it.

Use the search feature as there are only about 57,889,187 topics on this. Some can't get it to play, some have no problems getting them to play. Since my 99 Accord and my best friend's 98 Camry have no problems playing burned CDs, I'm inclined to believe it's brand of CD, color of CD, or burn speed that causes problems for the 99-01 TL.

I do love my Bose system (don't expect to hear that from many people on here, but I think it sounds fantastic) - but make no mistake about it, the headunit is not Bose - it's Alpine for the 99-01 TLs and Pioneer for the 02-03s.

I'm not sure which is worse: Burned CDs in 99s or Reduced HP in 2006s when it comes to threads.
