Help me find a used replacement part. It is number 6 on this picture. I don't need a brand new one.

Never mind. I went to my local salvage yard and was able to get a couple of them for dirt cheap.

fuck, i need one. and I bought one from a junk yard only to find out its broken exactly like mine....

i tried ordering new from acura for 140, was fine with the price.....but only to find out Acura has none! and are currenlty on back order

Open it up and rotate the big gear 180 degrees so the bad teeth are no longer in use. WFM. Cost $0.00.

[the gear only rotates about 90 degrees over the course of its travel to move the blend door.]

Worked perfect for me as well, I was thinking about opening it up to see what was making it hang up and came across you post. Many thanks!

Was super simple, hardest part was getting the assembly back in the car.
