This is annoying, the transmission and engine mounts in my TL are about 3,000 miles old and only about a month and a half as far as time goes. The fluid in the tranny is still perfectly pink, but lately it's started to exhibit the same symptoms the last had.. delayed downshifts, harsh upshifting, etc. It was all fine for the first month it shifted brand new but seems to be in a downward spiral now. 3,000 miles is unacceptable.

 

Bring er back!

 

This time I'm not giving up until the car simply won't go no mo'. The last transmission was replaced before the impending failure, it was showing all the signs. Shudders, dark fluid, delays, and even slippage now and then. I'm just wondering why, if the fluid is so pink it disappears on a paper towel, the transmission seems to be hiccuping!

 

mine went from pink to black in 1 afternoon on one of my (4) trannies

 

I guess that was the day it destroyed itself. My friend and I have been watching videos from your Acura Inspired gallery and he made a couple of comments.

"The TL looks like a kid splashing in the puddles."

"I feel sorry for that car."

Did you buy it new and put all ~193k on it?
