2000 acura tl problem after restarting
I have a 2000 acura tl that have a problem. The problem is that after you drive the car and the car reach the regular warm temperature and you turn it off to turn it on again i have to wait like 15 minutes to cool off a little because it start misfire and dont turn on. I replace the spark plugs the ignition coils , cranckshaft and camshaft position sensor plus a new water pump and timing belt and still doing the same thing if someone had the same problem as me please help me with the solution it will be greatly appreciated thank you

Here i'll save you some time.
Check your fuel pressure regulator and see if it's Black Dot type. If not, replace with one that is.
If the car starts when engine is hot after a short stop after installing the black dot FPR, then you'll found the problem... Heatsoak.
The car is going to run rich at startup, rough idling when engine is still cold and warming up. You can live with it as is if it doesn't bother you or you can upgrade the ECM to match the FPR so the car runs as designed.
To upgrade the ECM it'll cost you $700-$1500 depending on emissions or non-emissions... new. The work around is to upgrade with a use 2001 ECM for less yhan a $100.
However, you will need to code the new ECM to ALL your keys and has to be done by the Dealership $200--$300.
