1 - 2 shift grind

I have a 2001 TL, and had the transmission replaced a couple years ago by the Acura dealer.

I recently noticed the following:
- When accelerating slowly to moderately from a stop on a slight incline, there is sometimes a slight shudder/grind/vibration during the 1st to 2nd gear shift.
- Often this is just a brief grinding noise. However, one time I also felt the car shudder as if it were lugging.
- This happens after RPMs drop to around 1700-2000 during the shift and only lasts for 1 or 2 seconds.
- If I accelerate more quickly, the problem never occurs.
- It does not happen all the time. It's usually very hot outside when it does happen.
- Transmission shifts perfectly in all other gears.
- Recently did 2 drain and fills with DW-1 -- did not cure this problem.

In searching these forums, short of pointing the problem to the transmission, I've come across posts pointing to "linear solenoids". Question is, is there any linear solenoid which affects the 1-2 shift for a 2001 TL? What else could it be?

Thanks!

cleaning the selenoids never hurt and a new external filter to go with your new fluid

mine shifts smoother in 1-2 when more on the power too

ck your motor mounts

Check the Front and Rear Engine mounts... mine was doing that and was resolved by changing both engine mounts.... You can do a search and see how to check engine mounts to see if they are bad on this board.
