Exclamation 03 TL-S SHIFTING PROBLEM...(soneloid..tranny???)

(Happened about 2 weeks ago)

I have an 03 tl-s. Driving to work after being stopped at a red light i felt a startle when going into 2nd or 3rd gear but car drove fine till i got to work. On my lunch i turn it on and notice a noise i hadn't heard before(not too loud but noticeable). I drove to get food not to far from there(drive-thru didn't park/turn off ). I came back and parked it but never turned engine off. I went to put in in reverse and it lagged a little bit to get into reverse gear, like 3 seconds but it finally did. when i put it on drive i didn't change gear(it was if it were on neutral).I turned the car off and and then back on and shifted to drive after like 5 seconds it got into gear. I could feel it was week. i drove it to my brothers house a couple of streets down from where i work. on my way there when it was in gear it completely lost power but still on. RPMs were at about 3/4 but car wasn't moving(if it were on neutral again). I turned it off again and repeated the process till i finally got to his house.

I plug up the diagnostics machine and i got two codes. one disappeared ofter i drained and replaced the transmission fluid. The second, DTC P1750: MECHANICAL PROBLEM IN HYDRAULIC CONTROL SYSTEM OF A/T CLUTCH PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVES A & B, OR PROBLEM IN HYDRAULIC CONTROL SYSTEM...
after researching i have replaced

solenoid assy., linear $256.88
solenoid assy. (a) $31.10
solenoid assy. (b) $30.22
solenoid assy., at shift lock $103.58

TOTAL $429.20 + TAX

I know that if i take it to the dealer i will have to pay BIG money.. unfortunately im running out of options and making part purchases that aren't doing it. I underdstand that there have been obvious problems with the transmission on these models but if any one knows what might help me out with out having to buy the whole transmission i would really appreciate it...

I've done searches here and Acurazine.com but i couln't fine a post with the specifics that completely relates to the situation...

Thanks

Pull the solenoids out and see if they ace clogged first. You may be able to clean them to see if it helps.

Replace your external tranny filter too. Your solenoid is thirsty of fluid.

P1733 shift control system problem ...soneloid valve d!!!???

I'm still dealing with my cars shifting?/gear?/transmission?/solenoid? problem. I now have an error code of p1733. Has any one dealt with this error code or does any one know what i need to do to fix it. To what my knowledge there is no solenoid valve D replacement or a A/T clutch valve C replacement ????

P1733 Problem in Shift Control System:
Shift Solenoid Valve D Stuck ON
Shift Valve D Stuck
A / T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve C Stuck OFF

Thanks for the help...

that's simply done by unplugging the battery or by pulling the fuse correct?
