My TL is having an odd issue that I suspect is the result of a short somewhere. no crank and dash lights go out when i turn the key and wont come back on until i disconnect the battery. all I get is a single click and something starts beeping in the dash. it seems to usually happen after it rains. I recently had a water leak that i fixed (sunroof drain), and i dont think there are any more leaks. during the last rainstorm the problem got worse. usually when it happened i could just disconnect and reconnect the negative terminal and it would fire right up. now it only starts when it wants to and it hasn't rained in a few days. the battery is brand new. video coming soon, please help!

So its starting to look like either the positive battery cable or a ground. i removed the positive terminal and cleaned it up a bit, and i also replaced the ground going to the chassis and its starting right up now. im still skeptical though as the symptoms dont really seem like a bad connection.
