Good question, I can't find it in the factory service manual. Here is the diagram for SRS components....

^ LOL, All Front Impact Sensors are under the hood on all cars.

Why do you want to know where they are?

Car was in a wreck and airbags deployed and too good of a car to call insurance to let them total it.

Yours are next to the lt and rt front frame rails, one on each side.

It takes at least 2 or more sensors to activate the air bag or bags so in your case at least 2 have been activated and will need to be replace.

How many sensors actually did activate? I don't know and I'm not going to speculate either, due to the seriousness of the srs system.

The srs system as we know will save lives but if handle with carelessness, ignorance, or misunderstanding it can and will take a life if accidentally deployed next to your head.

Due to obvious reasons I'm not going to offer advice on any DIY. Instead I will encourage you to buy a manual on srs systems repair and educate yourself before pursuing this endeavor or buy the obvious parts at a discount and hire a professional to install it.

Man I can't find any reference to it in the manual. I'm sure it's there...

The SRS unit has the impact sensor integrated, Not all cars are the same.
There is a side impact on the diagram but if the front got hit no need to replace those.
You need find an 02 TL-s SRS unit not any other year, i don't think theres a difference with non type S.
Whenever working on this system you must disconnect the battery.
Have you tried the reset procedure ?
