My 02 s-type will start, run just fine, then die while driving. Then will not restart. wait a few hours, starts, runs fine, then dies and won't start again. Have had crank sensor, cam sensor, main relay replaced. Two independent shops can't figure it out. No CEL, no codes. Any ideas appreciated.

 

clean egr system inside intake manifold
ck under main fuse and relay panels for bad solder

fuel pump relay has caused similar issues
swap with one of same color to test

never heard of cam or crank sensor failures for us
