i had a couple hours free today so i put in the rears. gonna do the rest hopefully sunday if it doesnt rain.

the rear is at -1 to -1.5 finger gap now. i didnt know how low it would be before i put it in so i raised it up a little before installing. i think i can go lower in the rear.

thanks!

i will take more pics tomorrow def after i lower it more. and after it stops raining cats and dogs. crazy storm here in the northeast. lot of flooding everywhere. i drove through a semi-deep puddle on my test drive today after installing and there was just steam pluming out of my hood. def not a good situation. i didnt realize that lowering just a couple more inches would make that much of a difference.

Its gonna take some getting used to. MUCH stiffer than OEM and even my eibachs. But i think its worth it because the handling and steering response has improved greatly.

I took off my wheel locks because they're useless and lead to situations like yours. I'm pretty sure advanced auto parts sells a compatible wheel lock. If not dealer all the way.

Just trust me, put some regular nuts on it. If someone wants your rims they'll drill out the lock anyways

and yeah I got to enjoy maybe 2 days with my WW front lip.

color me displeased.

Looks hot. Imagine how it would look with a lip kit.....I know you cant stop looking at your car so youll def be staring at your car for hours when you get your lip kit at that height.

Once you park your car wherever you go, I bet you look back and look at the car. I do that to admire.

^03tlsnbp: you have balls for being as raked as you are. some guy from norcal was raked just like you and he had a lipkit too (02/03 tl-s nbp).. hit a huge ass pothole and he cracked his oilpan and f*cked his headers up pretty bad.. so just beware.

and yeah.. i've cracked my wheel lock key before.. just order a new one from McGard.. and only thru them.. cause the stealership sells them for $30~ while they go for $12-15 @ McGard. plus.. they're stationed in NY, so i don't see a problem!

haha i know what you mean. i was thinking about the Ron Jon kit but i wont have any disposable income till the summer so i will probably miss the preorder sale.

right now im just focused on getting my wheels off.

then:

paint grille
wash and wax
black headlight housings

then im done till the summer.

Started off the day by getting a car wash since the outside water supply at my house is still turned off from the winter. They wouldn't let me in though because my front bumper couldn't get over the rail into the conveyor thing lol.

Then for the hell of it, I took my car to the dealership today. They surprised me and removed my wheel locks for free and gave me the proper wheel lock key for 10 bucks!

So I fixed the ride height. It is perfectly even now. Side skirts are perfectly parallel with the ground. I lowered the rear by 2cm and then raised the front up 1.5cm because my front tires were getting worn from rubbing the wheel wells. My Honda badge came today also. I think the guy sent me one from the Pilot or CRV or something because that thing is HUGE. Idk I may keep it.

And I finally popped on my Honda center caps

More picture whoring ensues...

much better

you can't rock a black grill without blacked out housings! should get on that when you can, and remember to remove that silver strip on the headlights if you do go that route. and yeah.. that big honda emblem needs to go
