working on my work wheels 1 outta 4

bought my works from rbmotoring and they were not as good condition as shown in pics.. so picked up a set of volks to use as spares so i can buy some time to work on my works.. but been lazy and finally decided to start.. here is 4 hours of labour trying to figure out the best colour combo and after alot of fukin around decided on this scheme to match my nbp tl (note still needs some elbow grease on cleaning up the polish lol)

before

after

Yea.. Shoulda checked them out but live in Canada so abit far to go down just to check out the wheels.. Oh well.. And I cannot replicate the machine finish because I would have to take apart the weld and reweld the wheel just to do so.. And "easiest" thing to do was just paint lol

Haha it cool different people have different taste. If we all like the same shit then so much for originality for me it's a passion to be able to do what I like. I don't care so much for the wheel but just for fun I like doing stuff like this :P

I had these wheels on my tl, they only look good in the machine face. painting them makes the spoke look too thick.

word. i don't dig black on black either, or any black wheels in general. the only way i think someone can pull off black on black is if there's a big step lip .. i believe a 3g tl (on this forum) was on workmeister's with a huge lip .. looked pretty sexy..
