thanks for the feedback. i bought the kit from the dealer and they only color they could find was black. cant wait to get the rear! here are a few mre pix. i didnt like it at first, but yall kno me,i neva follow the crowd

My TL can do this, too!
As he said, it looks alright.
Does it stand out that much when you walk up to it in a parking lot? I'm guessing that if I walked by that vehicle I might not notice the different lip.

like said before, keep the front lip black, but the rear and sides color matched. it would look sick.
I was thinking of doing that on my abp, a black front lip to go with black housing headlights, and the sides and rear color matched along with a color matched grill.

You need to finish it off with the rear. But i think it goes pretty well cause it looks like you're going with a black and white theme. Wonder how it would look if it was all white with the black front lip?

I like it, but not my personal style. Get the rear lip in black and maybe go darker on you tints and it will tie together better. Your rims look great with the black lip kit though. Enkei Evo 6's right?

i vote you color match the sides and ass tooThere's actually someone that had a black tl with white lip kit before he painted it. People say it looks like a Monte Carlo. Don't remember who it was but if you do a search it'll come up.

AMEN! i cant stand my tinted headlights anymore! i ordered the jdm black housing headlights. the ww rear lip should b on in a month. im moving to ft lauderdale fl in august for school, so the tint will be about 5percent all around. let me give you guys a brief run down in what im trying to accomplish. roof spoiler painted black, trunk spoiler is kinda up in the air. i like the 'lip" soiler but i also like the ww soiler. 19x10 rear wheels . 19x9.5 front. tein ss coilovers with the EDFC. manual tranny swap,big brake kit, sway bars, etc. And to answer the question about painting the lip. that is stil in the air. the whole car needs to be realipnted but for now ill leave the skirts black. no point in painting them and not the rest of the car. as far as i kno i think im the only "aziner" with an oem lip kit thaz a diff color than the car. first time for everything huh?

hrmmmm... dont like it. i can go with black front lips (fronts only) on EG hatches and such, but to me the TL is too "elegant" of a car to be more race-inspired styled. (which is what i see here)
but, if the sides were white and the front was black, tha'd look awkward too. needs a rear lip also...

ps the one good thing bout it, to me, is that youve got black wheels too... and tinted headlights... both of which i dont like on a white car, but at least you've got some sorta theme going. definitely not my style, but i've seen a lot worse...
