WHERE IS 02ACTcLean??? TL updates, Projects (BMW content)..
Its been a while Azine! Been too long since I've posted on here. To say I've been busy in an understatement. My job pretty much takes me out of the country 6-7 months out of the year, which equates to me pushing myself 150% for 5-6 months to make up for lost time. enough of my written excuses for why i haven't posted lately.. onto the pictures, proof in the pudding.
Most of you have seen my car last looking like this, late summer/fall of 2010:

If you saw it this summer at Nisei showoff 2011 or "The Chronicles" 3 year anniv. meet, it honestly didn't change much. I was hesitant to show the car this summer/fall due to its halt in progress from last year. Which is probably why i didn't show it much at all.
You might ask, "what the hell were you doing all summer then?"
What was taking up most of my time besides 10 hour work days, needy ass girlfriend, trying to be not fat, and minimal amounts of sleep is my side project, a 1988 BMW 325.
Yes, its clean, yes those are real BBS, and no, it does not have the stock M20 super ETA motor.. I'm not being cocky, it just took quite a while to find an E30 that was in excellent condition, wasn't abused and, well, made some decent power.
BBS I rebuilt for the car:
The existing suspension was removed completely along with control arms, control arm bushings, tie rods, sway bar endlinks, etc. and replaced with all new components. Additionally front strut housings were sectioned 1.5". Ground control suspension components went in, Koni adjustable race valved struts, Eibach 600# front and 800# rear springs, Ground control camber plates blah blah blah.
Ok so your must be bored with the suspension rant, Engine is out of a 91 535i, M30 (3.5l), fully rebuilt courtesy of TnG Automotive of La Cresenta CA, port & polished head, intake manifold, ground cams, ..honestly ill post a full build sheet later.. too much to include for my tired ass fingers right now.

And finally.. the TL update..
My TL is getting torn down and currently awaiting fender work, lip kit modifications, paint (full color change), new wheels (VIP Modular) and some other goodies for the 2012 season.. Extremely amped for this rebuild. Will update everyone with pics as soon as i get them.

One of the few cars that survived the 80s looking fantastic. Your E30 is brilliant, love those little cars for some inexplicable reason. I'm sure I don't need to mention that everyone here is pumped for your reborn TL.

I see u with the Canibeat watermarkssss, killin it like always, Fresh with the B.B.S!!! welcome back man! and stay intouch and dont disappear for like 7 months lol......

Update: just shot the BMW for www.styleovercomfort.com, keep an eye out in the next few weeks for it to pop up on the site.
The TL teardown is in progress. I have decided on a color, so stoked on it. All i will say is that is a Mercedes Benz color..
I have decided on a wheel also.. but cant make up my mind on the face finish!!!! hardest decision of my life... haha Gimme a minute and ill post up the wheel im going with. any inputs are appreciated.

I'm stoked on the color, its perfect. I made my choice on the face finish.. I'll keep that under wraps. I will say that it isn't a dark color.
Picked up the Medevil Pro trunk spoiler and the roof spoiler, obv having those sprayed with the car.
I'm also getting my visors sprayed body color, i don't recall anybody doing that with a 2G yet. excited to see how that turns out.
