hot damn! Now this guy has great taste in wheels!

I was beginning to get worried because there have been too many 20" rims wannabe baller style wheels on this site... but Dro_15 you are definitely doing up the 2nd Gen TL the right way!

Those are some damn nice wheels. I need to find some black wheels with a fat chrome lip like those to replace my RJ inspyres.

Thanks fellas... The Teins still have about 4/5 threads to go down if I wanted. As for the Works VS-XX they are 18x8/9 +38 offset with 225/40's all around. I don't have any issues with the 225's in front but once they're gone I want to go with 215's and debating about running a spacer up front.

hell yeah man i told you it'd work out G!! 215-40-18 on 8's is what i got now... debated 205-40's but aah i daily those wheels too. i'd suggest swapping out to 215 when you get the time/$ though, definitely. looks good on the replacement springs too! mines are still sitting... think im gonna go air..

once again definitely sick, glad you ended up going with it.

III: yup thanks for the advice... I do plan on going with 215's once the meat on my tires are gone. Which will be soon.

02: The SS have impressed me even with the replacement springs. I do have a soft bounce but nothing like SS on my girl's RSX. They are different cars but the same suspension. The RSX-S can't even compare to the TL's ride.

nice wheels.. clean car!

you need a rear lip though.

also i wouldnt mount 205 or 215s tires on those rims man, even with 225s they're stretched.. it's gonna look wack and will be unsafe. i would go with 235s but i guess rubbing would become an issue.

yeah, i been looking for a rear lip... but at a decent price, then i could get my car painted... the Volks I picked up locally.... still have my volks sitting in storage...

actually, black wasn't my first choice at all... the face was originally chrome and i wanted to refinish it... but due to mostly time constraints i went with powder coating... i think i'll get the chrome face in another 6 months or so

I picked these up locally here in San Diego. I don't know if the guys name was will but there was a guy with a blue TL with these when I first got mine. The specs on mine are 18x7.5 +35. They were originally on a prelude.

Hey dro_15 -

There's a kit for sale in the BM. I only want the front lip tho. You want the rear?

https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/sold-fs-2002-acura-tl-type-s-bodykit-oem-factory-body-kit-lips-367801/

I'm sure someone else can pick up the sides.

pm'd you.....

Umm, don't have anything else planned for my car at the moment besides a rear lip and repaint my car....

Air runners sound mighty nice but I can't justify spending 3G's to lower my car about an inch when I park. My car is lower than it looks in the pictures.

What else mods are there???

standard that comes w/ the ss's only go so low.. which isnt low enough.. maybe to the top of your tire, doesnt tuck really. but you can order replacement springs which are shorter... in a variety of sizes, 1" shorter, 1.5, 2".. i got 2" sitting in my room still waiting to go on, but dont think im gonna get to it.. probs go air instead.

215's ftw man... fk 235's

i know the pics aren't the best but here you go.......

springs in comparison (about 2" difference)

Tein SS all the way down
