Hmm.....nice.

Are you planning on painting the front lip?
You may want to consider having the paint shop paint your housings as well. I think that would look sick if you had body-matched headlight housings.

Right now your car has a bit of the "black-eye" look

Looking good. Almost there. I asked my friend about the harware and he said the same thing you did, about it only coming with the lip itself. Can't wait to see the finished product. So far it looks really good. Keep up the good work.

Yes, front lip will be painted along with the rear in a month or so.

Thank a lot for asking. I just need the bolts that go along underneath of the lip.

Yeah thats the way I like it, I was looking at your pics for a reference but I dont like how the emblem points slighly downwards when its mounted higher. I mounted the emblem right at the top of the bump so it would be leaning slightly pointed upwards so its more visible. It may not be the EXACT JDM location but I think it looks better like that.

I know your car is a work in progress, and you are going in a good direction, but posting pics of the car with parts of a kit, and mismatched colors, is not good IMO. It takes away from your car.

Yeah I know what you mean, but I also thought that other NGM owners would like to see how a black lip looks on their color TL.

I feel you, but it looks like your front lip is missing in the first pic and all that's there is your side skirts. Good progress on your mods though, I like how you painted the engine bay too.

I used Duplicolor Metalcast Red for my engine cover, walmart had a clearance for $5CND so I picked up another can, im gonna redo it, since i didnt prep properly.

copy Platano...nah, its just a coincidence that the front lip we bought was the same color. If my front lip was blue, white, green, etc, I wouldn't put it on without painting it first b/c that will look really out of place.

i also think matching your housing color with the car color would be nice, the blacked housing look almost out of place and so does the 3.2tl sign in your grill, but nice work

The V2 is fine, I dont mind the air sucking noise nor the whistling sound it makes, but I am annoyed of the rattling. I just have a twist tie holding it to the body of the car. How did you secure your V2?

the metal specks should be just as good, i used regular paint and it holds up fine, the metalcast is just a preference in colour, its made to look like metal i think... i dont believe it is a high heat paint. so if you like the colour then its all good

The label for which cover? The fuses? Yeah I just CAREFULLY removed the label and stuck it to a sheet of wax paper so dust doesn't "contaminate" the stickyness of the label.
