I've seen those blue lights before. A friend of mine put it in his Audi A4. Problem where you have it located is that the rear passangers can easily kick those things around or simply hit it with their knees.

i know...
but i rarely have rear passengers, plus the lights come off and can be tucked away. as for the footwells , you just have to tell your passengers in advance to be careful! or double case the neon with a hard plexiglass tube, which i'm already working on!kman
