Tuggernaut's Build Thread!!

Alright so the build is in motion now so I figured I would make a thread to keep track of everything

First mod to the car was done by my brother, interior LED's. White above, blue dash and door. The lights are starting to die on me though, so I'm gonna have to replace them soon. I'd like to do the radio all white or blue as well but I'm not sure. I'm thinking green would look cool wth the tan leather but idk how that'll be on the eyes. Any suggestions??

Next were wheels, also done by my brother. 18"x7.5" Konig Unknown

Not really feelin them personally, so come spring, I'll have something else..

So then my brother bought his S, and sold the car to me. First thing I did to it was change the cabin air filters.

Next up, I found a black lip kit locally. Dudes tranny died, so he decided to part out his car. The kit was in pretty rough shape but I got it for a pretty good deal so I can't complain. I brought it to a local shop and they've fixed it up for me, looks great. Just needs paint and that should be done soon enough.

Next, I bought and installed an eBay lip. It was $34 shipped AND painted. Can't beat that. Colour match is great, so I'm really happy with this one.

I then decided to remove the intake resonator. Didn't do a whole lot so a CAI or SRI still may be in the future. Or maybe just Stage 3 or 4 exhaust. Haven't decided yet. The one bolt is a bit of a mission (for anyone interested in doing this mod), this is what I had to use to get at it lol

Then Christmas came, and so did a roll of Gloss Black 3M vinyl Gonna use it on my hood. If it doesn't last, than I might just end buying a black hood but we'll see.

After this, I picked up a roof spoiler off eBay. Don't remember the sellers name, but it came from Brooklyn, NY for a little over $100. Needs to be painted, but the fitment is amazingly flush and the quality definitely seems to be there. That's being painted along with the lip kit.

Now, most recently (today), I picked up a pair of clear/red 02-03 tails. Gonna do the swap asap.. Can't stand parts layin around

Looks like you're coming along nicely except those wheels. If you're looking for some parts I have some for sale soon. Coils, exhaust etc

Well here's the lights. I picked up a Turtle Wax headlight restoration kit to get some of the scratches out of the tails. Worked amazingly. Sorry about the filth. It snowed today and salt is a bitch.

unfortunately, I didn't plan on putting the lip kit on until closer to spring but I'm thinkin ill prob end up doing it sooner if the weather warms up enough. But the roof lip will hopefully go on asap when i find some time.

Oh ya! And my S-Techs arrived a few days ago, so those will go on asap as well. This stuff is tough to do with shitty canadian winter and a cramped garage

Heres the link for the roof lip.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/360535348798...84.m1497.l2649
It doesn't come painted, I got it done at a local shop.

The trunk lip is from china lol. Like I said before it came painted for $34 shipped to my door. Nothing wrong with that man!

i believe 03tlsNBP knows a way cheaper alternative for a roof spoiler....

an m3 deck lid spoiler should not cost $100 from ebay

yeah I got an M3 lip spoiler for $23 shipped and shaved and curved the edges to fit the back window. then I painted it with duplicolor perfect match NBP. total cost was like $28. it even came with 3M tape.

Ya I realize that but I like the one I got a bit better because of the width and it really is a perfect fit. It's also nice to help out somebody on this side of the globe, and you can't do that for $30 unfortunately.

Well that's up to you. I love the look of it, so yes, to me it is worth it. The quality is there if that's what your asking, but its really up to you whether or not its worth it.
