About 2600 (rough estimate)

1400 trans
200 flywheel & starter
1000 brand new OEM parts (clutch, pressure plate, shifter, cables, pedals, nut & bolts etc)

Then
330 Innovative mounts
275 Random Tech cat
150 Tein S.Tech
225 Tokico HP

980 for all that

3580 total

I think I might get rid of the Innovative mounts if they bother me enough. You can really feel them through the whole car.

Very nice, glad to see you have your car back and running. You still have some bugs to work out with the speedo/VTEC, but hey it's getting you to and from work reliably. Just keep us posted with everything it's nice to read about, and see pics of other members projects.

How is the ride with the drop you have. I might be considering lowering my car a little bit. I know Tokico blues are good since I've had them in both my Integra's, but used Eibach springs. How are the Tein S techs ride/quality? Thanks

I was hoping you wouldn't run into that issue. Did you contact Innovative?

The ride is nice, very close to stock. It is a little more bouncy, but that's expected. You can really feel that it's planted to the road more than normal.

I'm loving the conversion. I would love to invest the bread on a conversion like this. You should try to get a short shifter to give it more of a sportier look & feel.

A short shifter does not reduce height but throw only. I am looking into getting my stock shifter cut down to reduce the height. I want to keep the OEM throw length b/c I like to feel the whole gear; I hated driving a buddy's car that had a short shifter. I am just going to cut the shifter near the bottom, cut an inch or two off, and weld it back on.

I'm either going to keep them light or do a gunmetal like this -- https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=150483

wo that actually looks good, it would be so hard to do on our wheels because of all the little space between the spolks. I wish I had a cousin with a 3 gen TL that wants to give me his rims.......

Wait maybe I should check.... I have like 40 cousins lol.

I wouldn't paint the 3g rims gunmetal. I would either leave them as is or do gold/bronze.

And if you painted the grille surround bodycolor with the gold/bronze wheels......that would look sick

Thumbs up

i still think those black tailights are giving you car a bad look, YOU have 6GEARS man, in a 1999 TL, your supose to school everyone with looks, Your car looks great without a lipkit, just get the 01-03 tails, because i never seen your color with it, and get some CL-S wheels in low pro. The blacked out tailights and painted black rims are just throwing your car off seriously........but major props for the 6 speed conversion no dout about that. Or even just get get a front lip, change rims and tails and you got your self one badd ass TL man. The blacked out tails and painted rims, remind me of my 4 cylinder days, we are LUXARY NOW and for your sig, it should day "got 6 gears in a 99?" -didnt think so........my

When you start typing like a normal human being, I'll change some stuff.

I all seriousness, I'm working on some other stuff right now. Work and school have me busy as hell, but some more things are coming. Definitely a lip kit; either OEM front and sides and WW rear OR WW all the way around with the flares taken off the front lip and side skirts.

If you would read TEN POSTS ABOVE YOU, you will see I am working on some 06 TL wheels. When I get those (or different ones) I am going to do the tails at the same time. But, as long as I have these wheels, the tail lights are staying (to keep the whole theme going).

I was thinking that too. Plus, my first experience in painting rims didn't come out to good (as you can see), so I think I'm just going to leave them how they are. I just thought that since the car is dark, the lighter rims wouldn't look right, but I've been seeing a 02-03 ABP around here with the 3G rims on it and it is the secks; I'll try and get some pictures if I see it again.
