I'd like to make this a thread where people can post some of their best pics of their own cars and/or other TLs to be able to use them as wallpapers. I think a good size for a standard screen is 1600 x 1200, and 1680 x 1050 for widescreen. It would be cool if a mod could make this a sticky.

I know my car isn't really wallpaper worthy, but here are a couple just to get it going.

Bigger pics please. Most of us have screens bigger than 800 x 600. If you upload them to imageshack you can just leave thumbnails like I did so that it doesn't take up too much room on the screen.

I'm currently using this as my desktop background. It works great centered with the black in the picture matched to the same shade of black for the rest of your background. Right Click<Properties<Desktop Tab< Then set custom color to "Hue:160 Red:4 Sat:0 Green:4 Lum:4 Blue:4"< Then add to custom colors, click apply and your set.

I don't have a high res of that pic. That was it right there. I just snap the pic and uploaded it.

 

I went with yours but when I use this color, I can see the box around it.

 

I have high res ones, but I like to have my pictures in 800x600 centered in a 1280+ screen with a black background fill (so you can see your icons in those areas). Or get fancy and apply some nice borders in photoshop on top of that.





Contrast kinda messed up in this one, but still all good

Upload your pictures to Imageshack.us and after it's uploaded it will give you a code for a clickable Thumbnail for forums. Just copy and paste that code into a post on AZ and that's it.

 

So, if I understand you correctly, it will only do that if you post your pictures in IMAGESHACK.US??? Photobucket won't work?

 

Photobucket will work, just copy and paste the "img" code..
