To JPTLS21,

If you don't mind, could you take the picture of your car before you install the springs? Everybody says if you don't drop the car and you have 19 inch rim, it'll look like a SUV. I have not seen that yet, so I was wondring if you could.

Thanks

Yo the grille is siiiiick..:wow: is it custom or what? Your whip looks nice without a body kit. I am planning to do the same (drop it and rim it up) even though I don't have a body kit. You have motivated me thanx bro.

thanks, yeah the grill is custom, there is a faq on this board that shows how to do it, just were some leather gloves b/c the grill will cut your hands up while you're cutting the grill up to match your grill...

Spring type?

Very nice ride... Did you ever say what kind of springs you've got? I'm assuming you have coilovers. How's the ride? I'm still debating on what kind of springs to get -- Eibach pro-kit or H&R sport. Any suggestions?

difference with coilovers...

Is there anything different from say an Eibach spring kit and the ground control coilovers besides that they're adjustable? Are there any additional costs that will be incurred in addition to the actual install (ie. alignment). I'm just starting my research and I dont want to be stupid walking in to having the installed. I also dont want to screw up my nice car. Appreciate the help!

answers:
1. NO
2. NO, unless you break a pearch or something, i've never heard it happen, but then again, i don't really ask. it hasn't happened to me. both need alignment.

hope this helps...

the ground controls are doing fine, only thing i would complain about is the noise it makes, it's not that big, and it only happens when i go over bumps, i can tell my shocks are going bad, so i going to have to replace them...

I don't understand how anyone living tri-state (especially NY) can drop and rim it up with a body kit. I don't have a kit on my car with an H&R sport drop...I think it looks pretty toit annnnnd even without it...I scraped the first week I dropped it. I give you guys credit...I have enough of a hear attack as it is whenever driving in manhattan and the boroughs.
